Interview Workshop - Part 2
February 2nd from 6 to 7PM , Location will be announced at the next meeting

- After you learn how to succeed in the career fair, you will learn how to do well at the call back interview
- If you are planning to attend the upcoming career fair, or if you plan on attending Nationals, this is a very beneifical workshop!

The 38th Annual National Convention
Wednesday, March 28th - Sunday, April 1st, 2012 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center

- The Registration fee is now $150 and will go up to $215 on February 15th, 2012
- Lodging for our chapter is at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown.
- Our chapter is taking 35 students to convention. Unfortunately, there are 0 spots left. If you are still interested in going and would like to sign up for the waiting list, please contact Maya Basquin at

Convention has a heftier price than FRC so get ready to fundraise!

- A $50 deposit is due on or before Friday, January 27th, 2012 and late payments will not be accepted. Since Earlier = Cheaper, the earlier you pay the $50, the better. We need full participation when it comes to paying convention fees on time.
Additional payments will be paid in installments and the amounts are to be determined. The deadlines for these deposits are:

- Friday, February 10th,
- Friday, February 24th, &
- Friday, March 9th,
However, you may pay all at once if it is in your power to do so. The final payment will be reduced according to how many fundraising events you participate in.
How To Register for National Convention!
2. Login. Not a member? Register to Join NSBE.
3. Once you have logged in, select Register for an Event.
4. Look for NSBE 38th Annual Convention and on the right-hand side, select Register for this meeting.
5. Fill out any necessary information. Type the "University of Central Florida" chapter and select the "Collegiate Affilate" option.
6. Answer any remaining questions and pay

Lockheed Martin Work Experience program provides students an opportunity to gain professional work experience related to their academic discipline while maintaining full-time university enrollment. Join us for one of the above information sessions where the coordinator of CWEP will be available to discuss the program to interested students

Buick Scholarship Program
Deadline Date is February 29, 2012
Applicants to the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program must:

- Be high school seniors, high school graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduate students.
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at a U.S. based accredited four-year college or university for the entire 2012-13 academic year. Proprietary and online schools are not eligible.
- Plan to major in a course of study that focuses on Engineering/Technology or select Design and Business related programs of study. See the list of eligible majors at their website: http://www.buickachievers.com/faq/#majors
- Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the automotive or related industries using these areas of study.
- Be U.S. citizens and have permanent residence in the United States
