Committees allow members to become directly involved in the day to day operations of the organization. By joining a committee, members are able to plan events, assist with marketing, spearhead outreach, and much more. There are plenty of committees to join, each one different from the next. We'd love to have you on one of our committees.

Membership Committee

We don't talk, we communicate! Join our Membership Committee and get the chance to know your fellow members just a little bit better. You will have the opportunity to understand the roles of membership and experience communication zone. We look for the most creative ideas for social media and more, so come spread your creativity with the Comm Zone!

TORCH Committee

Welcome to the 2021-2022 T.O.R.C.H Committee, the hottest and flyest committee of NSBE. As a member of this committee, You will be aiding in helping NSBE "positively impact the community" through volunteering, community service, and judging your fellow members in the Takeoff NSBE competition. We look forward to working with you!

Finance Committee

The finance committee will have the goal of supplying money for our chapter through fundraisers. Being a part of this committee will give you the opportunity to help with planning, executing, and critiquing fundraisers. If you are planning on applying for next years executive board, want insight on what finance zone is like or, you just want a way to be involved with NSBE, the finance committee would be a great fit for you!

Academic Excellence Committee

The Academic Excellence Committee will allow NSBE members to learn what academic excellence entails and how to be molded into future leaders. Committee members will be able to offer their ideas in making an event as effective as can be. They will be responsible for various tasks that are geared toward developing leadership skills, enhancing their resume, and giving back to the NSBE community. Lastly, this will give members a chance to make their NSBE experience more complete and have fun in the process!

Parliamentarian Committee

Are you interested in assisting in coordinating NSBE-UCF’s attendance, travel, and lodging for Fall Regional Conference or National Convention? Are you interested in learning more about the role of the Parliamentarian Zone? Are you interested in getting some membership points? If you answered yes to any of these questions then the Conference Planning Committee is for you. In this Committee, members will be performing tasks such as creating our chant, designing conference t-shirts, making room assignments and more. Benefits include but not limited to gaining 600 membership points, experience that can be put on our resume, and valuable information in regards to joining next year’s Executive Board! So what are you waiting for?

PCI Committee

Do you have a desire to get involved and can't wait to work with you throughout the year. As a committee member, you will be expected to attend committee meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of STEM activities for K-12 students.
Please make sure you have filled out the 2023-2024 Membership Form before completing this one.
Once submitted, you will be contacted and provided with the further information regarding committee meetings.
